The reality is that a majority of such services in the industry just do not work.  They are usually accompanied by outlandish hypothetical results and pretty graphics with the end result falling very short of the advertised product. The culprit is usually a lack of understanding of market dynamics, ability and opportunities.  The reality is that the Forex market spends a majority of its time trading in a random fashion. Short term trading of a nearly random market leads to at best break even long term results.  The other major problem has to do with nearly every market participant’s belief in the efficacy of technical analysis. Unfortunately a majority of technical analysis tools are subjective which renders them completely useless for any long term predictive value.
 

In contrast to the subjective nature of a majority of technical analysis whose results are completely unverifiable and therefore exempt from empirical proof, objective analysis methods are clearly defined and unambiguous.  This means that it is possible to clearly understand the performance of an indicator or non TA (technical analysis) system in advance of its use. We believe that using scientific, quantitatively based methods are the only way to achieve long term success in short term trading.
